Carter: Muti-year Deal Could Include New TNA Series

Pro wrestling outfit TNA Entertainment has pinned down a multi-year extension with Spike Tv that could include additional television projects beyond its weekly Impact Wrestling series, according to Dixie Carter, TNA Entertainment president.

Spike, which debuted TNA programming in 2005, will remain the exclusive home for TNA programming – including the wrestling company’s Thursday night weekly series Impact Wrestling — as part of the deal.

Terms of agreement were not disclosed.

TNA’s Impact Wrestling has delivered strong viewership ratings for Spike over the past seven years. The series, which features such wrestlers as Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle, Sting, James Storm and Rob Van Dam, is averaging 1.7 million viewers thus far in 2012, ranking it among the male-targeted network’s most watched series.

Carter told Multichannel News that the Spike extension will further help build the 10-year old TNA through additional branding opportunities, although she would not reveal specifics. Carter didn’t rule out the possibility of another TNA-based show on Spike or additional TNA-branded TV projects.

"We look forward to working with Spike to help us build and extend the TNA brand," Carter said.

The deal comes on the heels of TNA’s announcement that it will distribute a June pay-per-view event marking the company’s 10th anniversary. The event, Slammiversary 2012, will air June 10 and will originate from the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex arena, the company said.

She nags me night and day about getting a job. I tried to tell her that I can supplement our income by catching lots of fish and hunting deer. I feel like I can provide much more food that way vs working 40 hours a week in a two-bit job but she went completely postal tonight when she came home from work and I was asleep on the sofa with and a pay-per-view adult movie playing on the TV. She also went off about finding a cigarette burn on the carpet. I finally had to get out of there so I went through her purse while she was in the toilet, grabbed her car keys and $20 and drove to Taco Bell for a couple hours. Well, I thought she would have cooled off by now but she is madder than ever and has locked herself in the bedroom. What the heck do I do? Do you think she needs to see a shrink?

We have an interview with The Siberian Wolverine. Wolverine says not only will he beat Grand Masta but he will embarrass him. Wolverine says when Nick loses he better get on his knees and kiss his ass.

Match 5-King Hart defeats Risky Business to win the ERW TV Championship in a Ladder Match in 8:44

King Cliff comes down for his open challenge. Cliff says the person who accepts his challenge will pay. The Lights go out and when they come back on The Don appears on the stage.

Match 6-The Don defeats King Cliff in 5:25

“Valentine’s Day Massacare” is the next ERW PPV.

It is time for the Siberian Death Match. The Rules are simple. There are four sections outside the ring with weapons on each. Barbed Wire on one side, Electric Wires on another side, Glass on the other side and Various Weapons on the Fourth Side.

Match 7-The Siberian Wolverine defeats Grand Masta Nick in 47:55 in a Siberian Death Match to retain the ERW World Championship

After the match owner Justin Smith comes down and says Siberian Wolverine and orders the match to be restarted. Wolverine says that’s bullshit. The Bell rings.

Match 8-Grand Masta Nick defeats The Siberian Wolverine in 00:32 to win the ERW World Championship.

Nick celebrates after the match and Wolverine looks pissed off and nearly cries. Nick goes into the packed out crowd and celebrates. Nick puts out his hand for Wolverine to shake it. Wolverine puts his hands on the belt and tells nick to leave it go. Nick spits in Wolverine’s face and then hits the belt off him. Nick celebrates with the belt
